Abide Family Center believes Families Belong Together

Whilst volunteering in an orphanage in Jinja in Uganda, two American volunteers - Kelsey Nielson and Megan Parker - were surprised to learn that many of the children were living at the orphanage because their parents couldn't afford to keep or care for them.

From that moment, Kelsey and Megan began working with the orphanage to reunite the children with and support families - and Abide Family Center was born. Their vision was to give families another choice - a choice to stay together as a family.
